Introduction to Project Management
The demand for Project Management is continuing to rise and it is a rewarding career path within many organizations.
The course is a two-day active learning experience with breakout sessions and creative exercises. The instructor, Mike Musial, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who brings 35 years of managing major projects in many industry sectors to the course.
Attendees can be anyone working with or interested in projects, planning, strategy, organizational development, change management, etc. This is not just for budding Project Managers. Project sponsors, support personnel, business analysts, change managers and others have a lot to gain from this course as well. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to recognize the project management best practices as detailed by PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK). This course qualifies as a prep course for anyone taking the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. Participants will become familiar with the specific project management processes applicable to their current or future projects. Participants will have exposure to active learning, promoting team building while building a tool kit to use in future work activities.

Course Syllabus
This course promotes industry best practices and focus on tools and techniques that are recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a professional organization that provides global leadership in the development of standards for the practice of the project management profession throughout the world. The instructor is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who brings years of varied industry experience to the course.

This course is a two-day active learning experience with breakout sessions and creative exercises. The instructor will tailor aspects of the session to focus on selected areas of interest.
Performance Objectives
